A variety of corporate extraction, transformation and loading processes are performed to do this, providing a solution to budget team reporting times, due to the latent need of users to automate their reporting process, and translating their Excel Macro into a Spark\/Scala process.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-8128163\" data-id=\"8128163\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6dcf888 elementor-widget elementor-widget-theme-post-featured-image elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"6dcf888\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"theme-post-featured-image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"680\" src=\"https:\/\/bluetab.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/william-iven-damhwsryp9c-unsplash-scaled.jpeg\" class=\"attachment-large size-large wp-image-4378\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cbf2742 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cbf2742\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Outstanding within the evolution are the performance improvements and upgrading of the corporate Big Data platform for better organisation and management of parameters, transformation of the source tables to dashboards and migration of tables to a common module called \u201ccommon data\u201d.<\/p><p>This project has its own data governance processes, providing for pre-ingestion approval and a series of technical and functional validations performed in the platform landing layer. The Business layer accessed by users is supplied with two tables (as the numerator and denominator of the budgets).\u00a0<\/p><p>Data reporting is performed with MicroStrategy and the ETL process is based on Scala\/Spark technology.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section
